High-ranking Chinese officials and CSU's leadership team dedicated a new Confucius Institute on campus April 12, 2013. Vice Minister XU Lin, director of more than 400 Confucius Institutes around the world, was on site.
CSU and East China Normal University in Shanghai announced a Joint Research Institute for New Energy and the Environment that will capitalize on strengths of the two institutions to develop new energy solutions and help with the impact of energy on climate, air quality, land use and water resources.
The Boettcher Foundation has committed to awarding close to $1 million to four CSU scholars over the next three years. The program supports early career biomedical investigators in their transition to independent research.
John Belisle, internationally known CSU tuberculosis researcher receives Scholarship Impact Award, one of the university's highest honors.
