Investigators should anticipate a 5% annual increase in rates when developing budgets for proposals.

**We recommend budgeting at least one month of per diem charges beyond the study end point while arrangements are being made to adopt animals out.

FY 18 Services Rates

Animal Ordering Fee – $34/ order

Animal Transfer Fee, including to University Holding Protocol – $35/ transfer

Supply Delivery (on campus) – $25/hour

Material Handler Labor – $30/ hour

CC/Separations – $3.08 /card

Breeding Services Labor – $40/ hour

Technical Services Labor+ – $47/ hour

Veterinary Services Labor+ – $104/ hour

Shipping Animals++ – $70/box

Anesthesia Machine Rental – $35/day

Surgery Room – $65/day

Surgery Room w/Anesthesia – $100/day

Cat Spay/Neuter – $200/cat, or $150/cat for 3 or more

 

+Plus supplies and/or applicable mileage rates. Supplies are rebilled at cost + 10% admin processing fee

++Plus Tech time, applicable shipping and permit costs.
