Mark Wdowik serves as the Assistant Vice President for Research and Industry Partnerships in the Office of the Vice President for Research at Colorado State University. In this role, Mark is the primary point of contact for the private sector, including industry relations, industry sponsored research, joint proposals, and public-private partnerships. Prior to this role, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of CSU Management Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary corporation of CSU Ventures, Inc. – home to CSU’s Supercluster™ business enterprise arm. CSU Management Corporation managed CSU Fund I, LLC, a seed and early stage investment fund associated with Colorado State University. Prior to coming to Colorado, Mr. Wdowik was the Executive Director of the Office of Technology Transfer at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In this role, he managed the university’s intellectual property portfolio, industry partnerships, university start-ups, economic development and technology commercialization.

Mark received B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois (Champaign, IL) in 1982 and 1983, respectively. Present and past professional affiliations include: Eta Kappa Nu, Pi Mu Epsilon, AUTM, CBSA, UIDP, NASVF, Rocky Mount Innosphere board of directors, as well as a number of corporate and not-for-profit boards.
