Meghan Suter, PhD: Director, Research Acceleration Office
Meghan Suter is the Director of the Research Acceleration Office, which was founded in February 2015. She works closely with faculty, researchers, students, staff, and University senior administration to create a proactive research culture on campus, and to promote excellent along the entire extramural funding life cycle. Meghan received her PhD in Chemical Engineering from Case Western University, where she developed multifunctional nanofibrous materials for biomedical applications. Prior to joining CSU, Meghan worked as a Senior Research Engineer at The Ohio State University, where her efforts focused on agricultural waste conversion technologies and bioproduct cluster development.
Dinaida Egan: Proposal Development and Limited Submission Coordinator
Dinaida Egan oversees the limited submission process for the VPR Office. She also assists in complex proposal development and resource management.
Lauren Matheny: Editor/Project Facilitator
Lauren Matheny is the editor and proposal facilitator for the Research Acceleration Office. She is currently pursuing her MFA in fiction at CSU, and received her BFA in acting from Oklahoma City University. For the past two years, Lauren has been involved with publishing work at CSU, serving as an associate editor at the Center for Literary Publishing/Colorado Review. She worked with Electronic Theatre Controls, a theatrical lighting producer, for five years as an administrator and special projects facilitator.
Her work with the RAO emphasizes communication skills, helping single investigators and multidisciplinary teams craft engaging proposals.
