Virtual and Augmented Reality Symposium, Fri., Oct. 20, 1-4:30 p.m.; CSU On-Campus Stadium 6th Floor:

*Please enter this event through the Premium Entrance Doors on the west side of the On-Campus Stadium and take the elevators to the 6th floor*  

The symposium will include speakers from industry and research universities to discuss technological trends and potential for research, education and art expansion with virtual and augmented. This event is free and open to the public.

HP & NVIDIA Virtual and Augmented Reality Hackathon, Oct. 20-22, Morgan Library:

Teams of software developers, programmers, artists and innovators are invited to attend a 48-hour weekend event to engage in collaborative development of a virtual or augmented reality experience. Hardware and software will be provided by the new virtual reality lab. Winning teams will receive cash prizes. Any student or community member 18 years and older can apply to participate in the Hackathon. Participants will gain basic knowledge of virtual and augmented reality principles and skills during pre-hackathon workshops, as well as during the event. Apply to participate before Oct. 6. *This event is open to the public and press only during the Hackathon Judging and Award Ceremony on Sunday, October 22 from 5-7 p.m. in the Morgan Library.*

Virtual Reality Demonstrations:

Attend a virtual reality demonstration to learn about the virtual reality lab and to try out the technology.
